Your Mission: Mastering the Chemistry of Innovation

As our Chemical Engineer, you are the guardian of our core technology: the ink. Located in South China, but reporting directly to our engineering team in Eindhoven, you bridge the gap between formulation and final product.

• Master the Formula: You will design and optimize electrophoretic ink formulations and drive pigment surface engineering to perfection.
• Create the Pathway: You don’t just follow recipes; you develop and refine synthesis pathways for pigment modification
• Validate the Science: You get your hands dirty. You plan and execute rigorous electrophoretic ink testing and performance evaluations to prove our technology works.
• Set the Standard: You establish and implement the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for ink formulation and pigment modification, ensuring quality as we scale.
• Bridge the Teams: You collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners, supervising key projects and ensuring seamless communication between China and Europe.

What You Absolutely Need

✅ A Solid Foundation: A strong background in polymer chemistry.
✅ Proven Experience: Experience in colloidal chemistry, dispersion, and emulsion development (Bonus points if you have experience with electrophoretic inks!).
✅ Technical Mastery: Strong expertise in pigment engineering, ink formulation, and ink characterization (using FTIR, GPC/SEC, rheometers, viscometers, TGA, DLS, UV-Vis, etc.).
✅ Operational Excellence: Experience in lab operations, equipment maintenance, and EHS practices.
✅ Bilingual Power: You are fluent in both Chinese and English. This is a must.
✅ Local Presence: You must currently reside in the South China region.
