Your Mission: Designing the Pulse of Smart Glass

As our Electronics Engineer, you are the architect of the technology that drives our product.
You won’t just be designing circuits; you’ll be translating complex science into an elegant, functional, and market-ready solution.

• Core Design: You will design the analogue drive electronics (including software) for our revolutionary dynamic windows. Think schematics built around microcontrollers, switching power supplies, and analogue output stages.
• Deep Understanding: You’ll dive deep into the underlying electrochemical processes, driven by a curiosity to understand everything, and translate this knowledge into a brilliant electronics design.
• Product Mindset: You own the entire development process—from the first concept to a fully functional, released product—with a laser focus on product requirements.
• Collaboration & Support: You’ll work closely with external partners to create perfect PCB designs and support our sales team with powerful demonstrators.
• Knowledge is Power: You will systematically document all concepts, designs, and crucial choices, building the technical foundation of our company.

What You Absolutely Need

✅ Proven experience as an analogue electronics engineer in a high-tech company.
✅ Solid experience with the drive waveforms needed to drive displays and/or electrochemical (fuel) cells.
✅ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics.
✅ Fluent in English (a must-have); Dutch is a plus.
✅ Strong experience and understanding of:
– PCB layout design.
– Software for on-board microcontrollers (e.g., Microchip ATSAM family) in an IDE like MPLAB.
– Microsoft Visual Studio C# (focused on interfacing board functionality over USB).

Bonus Points for: Entry-level knowledge of National Instruments Labview.
